While we were in the recovery room with Tabi yesterday, H called from our home school co-op to say that she had hit her head and didn't feel well. She sounded distracted and vague which isn't usual for her so I asked one of the teachers to keep an eye on her and let me know if she got worse. Sure enough, as soon as we got Tabi settled at home they called to tell me ... She wasn't feeling any better and was still lying down. When we got to the Dr's office her eyes were dilating unevenly and H admitted that she blacked out when she fell.
Youngest in a body cast, oldest has a concussion.
She was pretty weak and dizzy yesterday--even fell out of bed last night --but she's speaking more clearly and her eyes look better this morning. She's also being really tough and not whining at all which is nice. Talk about a big bump on the head! She has to take it easy for 2 weeks... which is when Tabi's cast comes off.
Hoping time speeds up and March comes quickly!

You better put your guardian angel on speed dial my friend. I'll pray for you, and your house, and your kids and anything else that might break!
