Surgery went well, as you can see they fixed her hip as planned, and both elbows--a lucky surprise to give us a thrill and keep things interesting! (feel the sarcasm) Tabbs didn't think things were interesting enough though so she decided to get a rash, not breath often enough the entire first night, set off several alarms (heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiration measuring thingy), not have a wet diaper for 8 hours, have her right side swell up, and catch a staph infection. So, we're keeping on our toes and learning lots of new things we were never interested in learning. :)We were doing the math-- during our 8 hrs in the waiting room yesterday-- and this is O.R. visit #12 in the past 17 months... we've also enjoyed 4 E.R. visits during that same time as well as the swine flu, learning to use an aspirator, and several other fun things just to prove that we can be spontaneous.
Are we tired yet? Well, yes, but we're still loving life, keeping the faith, and enjoying every minute with our 5 little monkeys!
:)

When the season comes that she is well and whole, and you are all together again, it will be interesting to hear her story.
Hey there MommaBear, feel free to check out the following story that the hospital did on our Tabitha last year, and give all your kids a squeeze from me!

Just looking at her laying there not able to move... hearing your story... It makes me want to cry. You're in my prayers. I don't know what else to say.
