Tabi was in the O.R. again today… no big deal, just dental work. I only got a sitter for about 3 hours and Steven the dad didn’t bother getting off work. The O.R. is getting a bit routine for us now… it’s our 7th visit in 10 months after all (and that's not the grand total). Everything went well until after the surgery. She wouldn’t wake up. Her heart rate kept dropping into the low 60’s, her oxygen levels kept fluctuating, her eyes wouldn't open, and she stopped breathing a few times--just long enough to set off the alarms but not quite enough to panic the nurses. It wasn’t much fun for mom though. We were there 5 hours for a 45 min procedure. After Tabi got home she slept over 4 hours straight-- luckily for me she breaths loud.
But guess who’s happy and awake right now!?
...and guess who isn't (yawn). (double yawn- Dad's tired too)
