Every picture tells a story!

Our middle daughter LOVES horses... she especially likes the movie Spirit and will act like a horse for hours on end-- running around on all 4's and even setting up obstacles to leap over. She even got in trouble once for tying herself up with a jump rope (neck and all) so she could act out the part where they try to give Spirit a brand! She's done this horse-play (lol) for years and is now discovering the delights of drawing horses. Below are some drawings she brought me yesterday. Here's how she explained them in her own words!
"First, the boy finally caught the horse. He jumped and caught the horse and once he was finally on the horse's big spot she, the horse is a girl, ran all the way to a rock, and once her front feet touched a rock she stopped and bucked him off. Anyways he didn't have a saddle and he still had the reigns and so he flew off. Her feet went all the way up over her back when she bucked him. And that's the end."

It certainly looks like the end of that cowboy! Ahhh, kids are cute!

That's so cute!

By the way, she told me that you were getting her a horse. :)

My middle daughter is just like this but about dogs. I cringe to see her crawling around on all fours so much - even outside. Very cute stuff though, I have to admit.

I think her picture has caught the true meaning of what she was trying to draw with all the expression. How funny!!!
